Inflammation of petrous ridge and mastoid air cell, tumor, foreign body

Region:

Temporal bone, mastoid air cells, internal auditory meatus, petrous ridge

Patient’s Position:

Patient is placed in erect or semi prone position.

Place the patient’s head in true lateral position.

The inter-pupillary line is perpendicular to IR.

Central ray:

The central ray is projected 12° cephaled towards the EAM
